We are happy to announce Tara Parks, CFNP will be joining our
team at Forest Family Care in 2023!
Tara and her family have lived in Illinois for the past two years, but previously lived in Wythe County for 8 years. Tara completed her BSN at Illinois State University in 2012 & graduated in 2014 from Lincoln Memorial University with her MSN. Her nursing experience began with trauma & ER nursing. She then practiced family medicine and did home Medicare physicals for five years. The past two years she has specialized in diabetes care. She is a certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She is also a certified nutritionist. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 boys, hiking, kayaking, and exercising.
